Movie lovers were covered in popcorn in London on Tuesday (May 5), when they took part in a competition held by mobile phone company Orange.
The competition was held to mark the fifth anniversary of "Orange Wednesday" a weekly promotion by the telecommunications company to encourage people to visit the cinema.
Suspended from a crane in a park near London's Tower Bridge, the world's largest bucket of popcorn showered popcorn and prizes onto 100 lucky competition winners eager to scoop up prizes ranging from mobile phones, weekend breaks and an exclusive private cinema screening of the new Star Trek movie.
The giant bucket, 20 feet high and nine feed wide, held more than a tonne of popcorn and ten thousand pounds (15 thousand USD) worth of prizes.
